Join us to add a touch of rustic, handcrafted charm to your festive season at our Weave a Willow Christmas Angel in the beautiful setting of the Walled Garden

Led by local willow artist Heather McDermott, this full-day workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced crafters. You’ll learn traditional weaving techniques and create your very own willow angel using sustainably grown willow from our Salley Garden.

The workshop is on
Sunday, 23rd November 10am -4.00pm

Your angel can be left in its natural form, decorated with foraged greenery such as holly and ivy, or finished with LED lights for a warm seasonal glow—it’s up to you!

You’ll also have the opportunity to explore our Salley garden, weather permitting, and learn about the sustainable qualities of willow and its use as a renewable material. Please dress appropriately for time spent outdoors.

Weave a Willow Christmas Angel workshop in the Walled Garden is perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike.
No prior experience is needed, although good manual dexterity and hand strength is required to work with the willow.

Tickets are £85 pp inc VAT which includes:
Expert guidance and assistance from local willow sculptor, Heather McDermott
All tools and materials provided
Homemade morning & afternoon tea, including fresh scones and cake
A delicious seasonal homemade lunch

Limited to 10 spaces.

💚 This workshop would make a lovely ‘early’ Christmas gift to share with a friend for a festive, fun, creative day out!
