💚 Are You Wild at Heart? Then join us to spend a gentle day of weaving at our willow hearts workshop in the heritage beauty of the Walled Garden
Surrounded by ancient trees, spring blooms, and birdsong, immerse yourself in the gentle art of shaping and weaving your own wild willow hearts. Led by local artist Heather McDermott, this lovely day celebrates creativity, and the simple beauty of nature…creating perfect keepsakes for weddings, engagements, anniversaries, or to bring a touch of rustic romance to your home or garden.
You’ll also enjoy a wander through our Salley Garden, discovering the sustainable qualities of willow …a renewable, living material deeply rooted in heritage craft. Please dress appropriately for time outdoors. 🌿

Our willow hearts workshop is suitable for adults of all skill levels. No previous experience is needed, just a bit of manual dexterity and a love of crafting and nature.
💚 Come on your own or bring a friend and enjoy a creative, relaxed day at our Willow Swallows and Swifts Workshop in a beautiful heritage setting .

Access the Craigdarragh Road from the A2 Belfast–Bangor carriageway. Follow the signs for Helen’s Bay.
Continue along Craigdarragh Road for approximately 0.8 miles, where you will see the Walled Garden on your left.
Proceed towards the 30mph speed limit. Take the left-hand turn at the sign and drive down the temporary driveway. This which will be clearly signposted.
Follow the lane straight ahead to reach the car park located directly outside the Walled Garden.
