Join us in the Walled Garden for our sustainable willow birdfeeder workshop and create two beautiful willow birdfeeders of your choice. A perfect sustainable way to care for your garden birds this winter!
The workshop is on Sunday, 17th January, 2027, 10am – 4.00pm
We’ll also talk about responsible bird feeding, including choosing suitable fat balls, where to position your feeder and the importance of keeping feeders clean to help reduce the spread of disease. For further advice, see the RSPB’s guide to feeding garden birds.
This sustainable willow birdfeeders workshop is suitable for beginners and those with experience alike, as local willow artist, Heather will guide you through the various practical weaving processes involved. You will visit our Salley garden and learn how the willow is grown, cut and processed so please dress accordingly
