From: 10:30 - 16:00

Join us for a full day Botanical Watercolour Illustration Workshop at the Walled Garden and take inspiration from the rich colours, seed heads and delicate forms of late autumn.
Guided by talented local botanical artist Alison Walker, a member of the Irish Society of Botanical Artists, this workshop offers a wonderful introduction to botanical illustration in a relaxed and supportive setting.
Throughout the day, Alison will show you how to observe your subject with confidence, understand its structure and capture its beauty using pencil and watercolour.
Working from seasonal plant material gathered from the garden, you’ll gradually build your skills before creating your own botanical watercolour study to take home.
