Join us in the Walled Garden to weave a sustainable willow plant support with talented willow artist, Heather McDermott🌿
The workshop is on Sunday 22nd February 2026 10.00 – 16.00
Learn the fundamental skills and weaving techniques required to weave a sustainable willow  plant support. Ideal for your climbing roses,clematis or sweet peas🌹
You will get the opportunity to visit our Saille Garden, weather permitting, and learn about the sustainable and renewable qualities of willow. Please come suitably dressed
Although no prior experience is required for this workhop, it is designed for adults with good manual dexterity.
Why not bring a friend or loved one and spend quality time creating something beautiful together.💚

As restoration works are underway, the main entrance to Old Mill House may not be suitable for wheelchair users.

Access the Craigdarragh Road from the A2 Belfast–Bangor carriageway. Follow the signs for Helen’s Bay.
Continue along Craigdarragh Road for approximately 0.8 miles, where you will see the Walled Garden on your left.
Proceed towards the 30mph speed limit. Take the left-hand turn at the sign and drive down the temporary driveway. This which will be clearly signposted.
Follow the lane straight ahead to reach the car park located directly outside the Walled Garden.
