Join us at The Walled Garden, Helen’s Bay for a magical Christmas wreath making workshop where creativity, seasonal traditions, and the beauty of nature come together beneath the twinkling lights of our restored Victorian Glasshouse.
Step inside the Glasshouse and leave the winter chill behind as you enjoy a cosy evening surrounded by fresh evergreen foliage, natural decorations, and the scent of the festive season. With mulled wine, and the peaceful surroundings of our heritage garden, this is a Christmas experience designed to slow down, relax, and enjoy making something beautiful by hand.
Under the expert guidance of talented local florist Kathryn Millar, you will learn the art of traditional wreath-making and create your own unique Christmas wreath using an abundance of natural materials.
Gathered from the garden and surrounding countryside, your wreath will include seasonal foliage, flowers, berries, seed heads, and sustainable botanical elements, allowing you to create a design that reflects your own style and the beauty of the season.
At The Walled Garden, we believe in celebrating nature and working with the seasons. Kathryn will share eco-friendly floristry techniques, showing you how to create a festive decoration that is not only beautiful but also biodegradable and compostable. You will learn how to condition and care for your wreath so it lasts throughout the Christmas period and beyond.
Whether you come with friends, family, or enjoy a creative evening by yourself, this workshop offers a chance to reconnect with nature, learn a new skill, and enjoy a little festive magic in a truly unique setting.
